The Resident Care Companion provides assistance with daily living activities, personal care, and food services for residents under supervision.

Must be at least 16 years old with basic cooking skills and knowledge of adult residents’ physical, mental, and emotional needs.

Demonstrates good judgment, independence, teamwork, flexibility, emotional stability, and a non-judgmental attitude.

Responsibilities include helping residents with bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, housekeeping, and laundry; preparing and serving meals; maintaining cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas; and reporting any abuse or neglect.

Requires 12 hours of ongoing training annually related to job duties.

Full-time and part-time roles available, with pay starting at $17/hour, benefits including paid time off, and shifts including day, night, and overnight.

Qualifications preferred: high school diploma, CNA and CPR certifications; must be willing to relocate to Sioux Center, IA. In-person work with COVID-19 precautions in place.
