We are seeking a compassionate Wound Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide specialized wound assessment, treatment, and management in patients’ homes and long-term care facilities in Calhoun, KY, and surrounding areas.

  • Perform comprehensive wound evaluations, including measurements, tissue analysis, infection, and pain assessment.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.
  • Provide advanced interventions such as debridement, dressing application, and wound closure.
  • Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests to inform treatment and monitor progress.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on wound care and prevention.
  • Monitor healing, document findings, and adjust treatments as needed.
  • Coordinate with specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay current with wound care research and participate in quality improvement activities.

    • Preferred candidates have at least 2 years of wound care experience, APRN or PA-C certification, and willingness to travel 100%.
