We are seeking a compassionate *Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)* to provide mental health care in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities in San Diego, CA.


  • Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Diagnose and manage psychiatric conditions such as depression, anxiety, and dementia-related behaviors.
  • Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications, coordinating referrals for therapy and support services.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality, continuous care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Educate facility staff on behavioral health practices and crisis prevention.

    • *Qualifications:* Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing, valid PMHNP certification, current licensure, and experience in geriatric psychiatry preferred.


    *Skills:* Strong clinical decision-making, communication, and organizational skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.


    *Details:* Full-time, part-time, or contract roles, starting at $85/hour, 20–40 hours/week. Must be able to commute or relocate to San Diego, CA before starting.
