*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our orthodontic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our small dental team. This position requires excellent organisational skills, effective communication abilities, and a strong commitment to patient well-being.

– Orthodontic experience needed

– ‘DO IT’ software knowledge preferred.

– Reception cover will be included within the role, where need be.

*Responsibilities*
* Assist the dentist or therapistduring various orthodontic procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
* Prepare and sterilise instruments and equipment in accordance with compliance.
* Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment schedules.
* Provide exceptional patient care by addressing concerns and answering questions.
* Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
* Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a positive patient experience.
* Monitor inventory levels of dental supplies and assist in ordering as needed.

*Skills*
* Proficient IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling software. Software used at the practice is ‘DO IT’
* Strong organisational abilities to maintain an efficient working environment.
* Excellent patient care skills, demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
* Fluent in English with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
* A proactive attitude towards continuous learning and professional development in nursing practices.

Pay: From £15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
