Responsible for supervising nursing staff, ensuring equitable workload distribution, and promoting teamwork to deliver quality resident care within established standards.

Assigns staff, supports professional development, and manages discipline as needed.

Conducts resident rounds, assesses care needs, and reports concerns promptly.

Communicates effectively with the Director of Nursing regarding shift reports and administrative issues.

Develops staff goals, encourages professionalism, and serves as a resource for nursing personnel.

Directs patient care using sound judgment, updates care plans, and ensures resident and family education.

Maintains clinical competence, adheres to safety protocols, and participates in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications include a current RN license, prior long-term care supervisory experience preferred, and excellent communication and organizational skills. The role involves physical activity, proper documentation, and managing diverse activities.
