The speech-language pathologist (SLP) provides assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children. They offer training to families and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including OTs, PTs, and BCBAs. The role requires a master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology, Michigan licensure, and preferably 2+ years of pediatric experience. Candidates should be willing to work Monday through Friday, between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m., with some summer group and camp leadership. The position offers flexible hours (full or part-time, hourly or salary) with a pay range of $60,000–$75,000 annually, along with benefits like health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. The center emphasizes a family-centered, play-based environment for children aged 2-12 with various diagnoses, including autism and speech disorders. In-person work is required.
